Electronics hobbyist and professional for almost 50 years. Played with many "helping hands" at home and at work. Really like this one. What I like most is the build quality. Machined metal, strong magnets. Great for working with small boards and wiring. Extremely versatile.
This thing is really cool, well made, looks slick and is super handy as it's super flexible because the hands are mag so you can move them, simple but joints for wires or glueing stuff together, glad I grabbed one!
Great little helper! Not large, but enough to support small things that would be difficult to hold in larger stands. Also it doesn’t take up much bench space, which is a real benefit.
This is a pretty slick little gadget. It took me a second to figure out that you have to push on the top of the anodized round fixtures to release the grips. It would be way cool if you could actually rotate those clockwise and counterclockwise to raise and lower each grip. Perhaps you can, and I haven't figured it out yet? Nevertheless, this fixture makes my soldering jobs much easier.

This thing is awesome! The magnets are strong and the whole system works very well. Love it!
I have used Omnifixo and I find the clips a little too flexible for one clip use (spherical magnet), but there are places to store everything when traveling. The Magnetic Third Hand has more stable clips, but even though it has a very nice storage case (with the magnifier), everything is just piled into the box.
