Electronics hobbyist and professional for almost 50 years. Played with many "helping hands" at home and at work. Really like this one. What I like most is the build quality. Machined metal, strong magnets. Great for working with small boards and wiring. Extremely versatile.
This thing is really cool, well made, looks slick and is super handy as it's super flexible because the hands are mag so you can move them, simple but joints for wires or glueing stuff together, glad I grabbed one!
Great little helper! Not large, but enough to support small things that would be difficult to hold in larger stands. Also it doesnβt take up much bench space, which is a real benefit.
This is a pretty slick little gadget. It took me a second to figure out that you have to push on the top of the anodized round fixtures to release the grips. It would be way cool if you could actually rotate those clockwise and counterclockwise to raise and lower each grip. Perhaps you can, and I haven't figured it out yet? Nevertheless, this fixture makes my soldering jobs much easier.

I have not had occasion to use it yet, but it will make soldering thing much easier for me than anything I have ever tried.
These magnetically mounted "helping hands" are versatile and make soldering so much easier! I highly recommend them for soldering wire connections as well as stabilizing circuit boards for through the board and surface mount work.
Received it on time and pieces work as described. Next time I assemble or troubleshoot a PCB, I'll see how useful it really is.
This has proved to be invaluable in my model projects and soldering. I had a much larger base with magnetic flex hands but, it was too big and the flex hands would not stay where I put them. I replaced with this and so much better. Third hands are easy to use one handed, and parts stay put for easy assembly/soldering. Very happy with purchase!

I can now throw away my clumsy alligator clip unit. This is a great tool.
Easy to use web site, quick delivery and does what it says. No more droopy magnifying glass and the strong magnets base means nothing moves. The grips on the clamp are just right to help hold what you are soldering!

The unit comes with strong magnets and hold the board firmly. The magnifying glass is better that what I had. I ended up throwing my alligator clamp mechanism away. Great product and would recommend it.

Its really great. Its well made and quite heavy too which is always a good sign. The magnetic posts are really strong as well. Plus the fact you can move them apart and set any distance is excellent. Its good for soldering cables to connectors also. The magnifying glass also helps.
